The April payroll was processed today and covers the period between 22nd March and 18th April (4 weeks) and will be paid on Friday 25th April.

The May payroll will cover the period between 19th April and 23rd May (5 weeks) and will be paid on Friday 30th May.
National Minimum Wage increased today:
Under 18s hourly rate has increased from £6.40 to £7.55 per hour (an 18% increase).
18-20 hourly rate has increased from £8.60 to £10.00 per hour (a 16.3% increase).
21+ hourly rate has increased from £11.44 to £12.21 per hour (a 6.7% increase).
These increases take effect from the start of the next payroll period (i.e. from the May payroll) but Teamworks has always applied these increases a month earlier than required by law, so these increases will be applied to the April payroll. This is not an April Fool's joke: it's a payrise of more than twice the rate of inflation, brought in a month early!
